It is very surprising how dirty and faded car mats or carpet can ruin the overall look of a vehicle; even if the outside appearance is pristine, upon entering the vehicle, a poorly looked after interior can result in your exterior care efforts seeming insignificant.
The best product for you to use is Renovo’s Carpet Ultra Proofer. This product, which is neutral in colour, not only cleans and waterproofs any colour of carpet or car mat, it also protects with a UV inhibitor and an advanced anti-bacterial guard, effective against super-bugs… Smells great too!
You need to make sure that the carpet pr mats are dry, and then you must vacuum them, prior to applying the Carpet Ultra Proofer. Use the upholstery attachment or nozzle to suck up all the excess dirt and grit and remember it is also useful to beat the carpet or mats with the palm of your hand to loosen any bits left, which you can then hoover up!
You must shake the bottle and then unlock the nozzle by twisting the very top of the bottle. Then, apply the Carpet Ultra Proofer in even sweeping motions at a distance of 10cm/4 inches until the entire mat or carpet is evenly covered. Do not apply the product in direct sunlight as this will cause the product to dry too quickly!
As the carpet/mats are treated/ covered with the Carpet Ultra Proofer, it is then important to use a soft lint free/microfibre cloth to work the product into the material.
In case of allergic reaction, I advise you to wear protective gloves during this. You may have to repeat the process to achieve the best results!
It is important to remember to shake the bottle before using, and do not dilute or mix the Carpet Ultra Proofer with any other product. Furthermore, do not apply the product in direct sunlight, and try to avoid allowing splashes and dribbles to dry on any interior surfaces, except the carpet.
