For a soft top the size of yours you will need one 500ml bottle of Renovo Fabric Soft Top Cleaner to properly prepare the fabric for the Reviver.
To remove Renovo Ultra Proofer use Renovo Fabric Soft Top Cleaner following these instructions:– Mist spray the top and then paint on Fabric Soft Top Cleaner, leave the solution to process for approximately one hour, the optimum time for the active ingredients to work. Using hand hot water the surface should then be scrubbed with a bristle brush, being careful around stitched areas and windows. It is essential to use hand hot water.
Finish by rinsing off with water. Repeat the whole process as necessary.
A litre of Reviver will be sufficient for one possibly two coats but you may need a further 500mls to ensure good coverage and that you do not run out part way through your second coat. So, if you use more than half a litre for the first coat you will definitely need a further 500mls to be able to successfully complete a second coat. It’s very important that you have sufficient Reviver to complete liberal full coats as if you run out part way though you will get a join line when you try to finish the application. This is because the Reviver that you are applying will seep into the dried Reviver and cause a double dyed area to appear, once this has happened it is not easy to rectify and achieve an even overall finish. Lastly, to weather protect the renewed colour, apply Renovo Ultra Proofer, you will get the same kind of coverage as for the Reviver. Subsequent coats are recommended approximately every six months and these will use less Ultra Proofer as you will just be topping up the protection.
